Apple Day at Auchernack

Join us for Apple Day at Auchernack House on Saturday 24 October 2026 — a free, family-friendly celebration of Moray's apples and orchards. It's a chance to taste heritage varieties, learn what's growing in your own garden, and meet others who love their local fruit trees.

Bring along any apples you'd like identified and we'll help you name them at our apple-identification station — for the best chance of a match, bring three ripe apples with their stalks still on. You can also pick up our heritage apple cards to take home, celebrating the old Scottish and Forres-district varieties.
